Shuttle Bus Service Between Iiyama Station and Ryuoo Ski Park Continues for 2025-26 Season
Service Period: December 27, 2025 – March 8, 2026
The shuttle bus will run up to 10 services per day on select dates during the winter operating season, timed to coincide with the Shinkansen (bullet train) schedule.
Buses for Ryuoo Ski Park depart from the Madarao Exit (one of the two exits at Iiyama Station).
Advance reservations are required for this bus. After booking your Shinkansen and accommodation, please don't forget to reserve your spot on the shuttle bus!

Extra Ryuo Shuttle Bus Services
Due to high demand, we have decided to operate extra services for the Ryuo Shuttle Bus on Saturday, March 7th and Sunday, March 8th.

＊Seating is unreserved and on a first-come, first-served basis. Please take a seat from the back of the bus.
＊In cases of high demand, auxiliary seats may be assigned, but no discounts or refunds will be provided.
＊For safety and to reduce the burden on our staff, please load your own luggage into the bus trunk.
＊If you do not arrive by the scheduled departure time, the bus will depart and it will be considered a no-show. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

＊Loading skis and snowboards into the bus trunk is free of charge. However, we are not responsible for any damage or loss of luggage. Please ensure all items are in a case.
＊The bus ride between Iiyama Station and Ryuoo Ski Park takes about 30-40 minutes. If the bus is full, you may need to share a seat with others, regardless of gender or group.
＊There are no toilets on the bus, so please use the facilities on the Shinkansen or at the meeting location before boarding.
＊To maintain punctual service, simplify bus cleaning, and reduce the burden on bus drivers, eating and drinking are generally prohibited inside the shuttle bus.
＊Depending on the number of passengers, the bus type may be changed to a medium or small-sized bus.
Steps Before Boarding
01.Until Your Reservation is Complete
STEP 1: Reservation
Please select one-way or round-trip and enter the necessary information to make your reservation.
If there are no available seats on your preferred bus, you may join the waiting list. Please enter "Waiting List Request" in the "Request" field of the inquiry form.
If a seat becomes available, you will be notified by email that your reservation has been confirmed. If no seats become available by three days before your travel date, your "Waiting List Request" will be automatically canceled.
STEP 2: Payment
At the time of reservation, please choose between bank transfer or credit card payment.
Please note that we do not accept payments on the day of travel. Be sure to complete your payment in advance.
STEP 3: Reservation Confirmation, Changes, and Cancellations
You can check your reservation details through My Page or with the travel agency you used to make your booking. For changes or cancellations, please contact the phone number displayed on My Page, or if you booked through a travel agency, contact the agency directly.

The bus trunk is organized by destination, so please load your luggage yourself. Make sure to carefully check your luggage to avoid any mix-ups.

- Tickets
- No tickets will be issued. Please present the reservation details from your My Page (or the reservation receipt issued by the travel agency).
- Participation Conditions
- Children aged 3 years and older must reserve a seat (the fare is the same for adults and children).
Children under 3 years old may travel for free if seated on the lap of an adult without using a seat. - Same-Day Reservations
- Same-day reservations can be made at the Tourist Information Center located on the first floor of Iiyama Station.
Note: Because the Tourist Information Center opens at 9:00 AM, same-day reservations are not available for the 8:30 AM bus service. - Change and Cancellation Fees
- Changes and cancellations are accepted by phone only during business hours (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM). Requests outside of business hours will be processed the following business day. No changes or cancellations will be accepted via email or fax.
