Introducing the "Iiyama Station - Snow Monkey Bus," a direct shuttle from JR Iiyama Station to the world-famous Snow Monkey Park.
Worried about walking on snow? Our service includes snow spikes (crampons) so you can enjoy the trail with peace of mind.
With two daily round trips, it's easy to fit into your travel itinerary.
Seeing Japanese Macaques bathing in hot springs amidst the snow is a winter-only experience. Don't miss this chance to visit from Iiyama Station.
Fast access from major cities: Only 111 minutes from Tokyo Station via Hokuriku Shinkansen, and 75 minutes from Kanazawa Station.
The shuttle connects JR Iiyama Station to the Snow Monkey Park drop-off point in approximately 45 minutes. Once your Shinkansen or hotel is booked, make sure to reserve your bus seat too!
※ The drop-off point is near the Shiga Kogen Roman Museum (different from the Nagaden public bus stop).
※ Wild monkeys may not be in the park depending on the time or day. No refunds will be given in such cases.
※ The walk to the park takes 40–60 minutes on snowy, uphill, and sometimes slippery paths. Please make sure to wear crampons.
※ There are no restrooms near the parking lot. Please use the restrooms at the summer parking area along the way.

The bus trunk is organized by destination, so please load your luggage yourself. Make sure to carefully check your luggage to avoid any mix-ups.

- Please make your reservation and complete payment (credit card) by noon the day before your travel date.
- Tickets
- No tickets will be issued. Please present the reservation details from your My Page (or the reservation receipt issued by the travel agency).
- Participation Conditions
- Children aged 3 years and older must reserve a seat (the fare is the same for adults and children).
Children under 3 years old may travel for free if seated on the lap of an adult without using a seat. - Same-Day Reservations
- Same-day reservations can be made at the Tourist Information Center located on the first floor of Iiyama Station.
Note: Because the Tourist Information Center opens at 9:00 AM, same-day reservations are not available for the 8:30 AM bus service. - Change and Cancellation Fees
- Changes and cancellations are accepted by phone only during business hours (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM). Requests outside of business hours will be processed the following business day. No changes or cancellations will be accepted via email or fax.
